Urban Sol

This is from a little event called Urban Sol. It took place at Civic Space Park in downtown Phoenix. The organizers had a dance and Dj competition. I asked Lalo if he wanted work on a co-lab since we have gone thru many ideas on paper and rarely get a chance to execute them. Also, Fabel from the Rock Steady Crew was in Az at the time. He got down on a panel as well.

16th St and Cambridge

New mural on 16th St and Cambridge in Phoenix. This was a large collaboration between myself, Ishmael Duenas, Angel Diaz, Lalo Cota, Pablo Luna, Sean Griffin (Griffin One), and Jetsonorama(Chip Thomas. Thanks to the Calle 16 organization for sponsoring the project, most of which was painted during the 3rd weekend in March known as Art Detour. There are some small parts that remain unfinished but hopefully they will get done soon. Manny, who owns the house and this wall, asked specifically to have a photo of his two daughters wheat pasted on. Jetsonorama AKA Chip Thomas volunteered to do the paste and was the last addition to the mural recently.

Breeze linework art shoot 2012

Here are a couple shots I took from offline. Photographer Sam Gomez set up a shoot with singer Venessa Mendez from the local band Hot Birds and the chili sauce. Venessa I believe co directed and included her friend Kari into the shoot as well.

There is no denying that these two beautiful ladies look and work well together. Sam captured some great shots as well. I will always have an appreciation for diversity and beauty in cultural tattoos such as the Maori people of New Zealand, certain African tribes, and the infamous Japanese Yakuza tattoo work. I know people's opinion on body art photo shoots vary, but I am happy to express temporary inspired work that may have a slight resemblance to real tattoo work from around the world.

Hopefully I will get a couple more photos from the shoot in the near future and post them.
